I acknowledge the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the land, waters, and sky where I live and work.

I pay my deep respects to the elders past, present, and emerging, and seek to listen and learn from them.

I recognise that their sovereignty was never ceded.

I welcome and celebrate the extraordinary diversity of people’s bodies, minds, genders, sexualities and relationships.

I endeavor to work with cultural humility, engaging critically with ongoing education, self-refection, and supervision.

I draw upon my own lived-experiences of trauma as well as evidence-based practices to support clients' needs.

About Me

Hello, I'm Natasha...

I'm a qualified and experienced counsellor offering caring, inclusive and accessible therapeutic counselling for anyone over 18 years old. All of my work is trauma-informed, strength-focused, and client-centred, which means I will encounter you with empathy and compassion, affirm and build upon your strengths, and help you to feel safe and supported.

"I'm not only a trauma therapist, I'm a survivor"

Too often, traumatic experiences shake our sense of self and our inherent worth. I have personal experience of trauma and abuse, so I understand how difficult the process of finding the right therapeutic support can be...

Here you are encouraged to go at your own pace and develop a trusting relationship where you can simply be yourself. I do my best to offer services that are flexible and accessible and that help you to rediscover and build on your strengths and self-worth. I will be tuning in to how you would like to progress; your goals, your pace, your needs.

My pronouns are She/Her

I'm a PACFA Certified Practicing Counsellor, and I hold a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy

How Can Trauma Therapy Help?

A Safe Space to Heal

Therapy provides a confidential space of rest and repair where you can learn to regulate your symptoms and feel safe again. I work to support both your internal and external sense of safety and provide consistent and compassionate care that enables you to feel in control and be empowered.

A Deeper Understanding

Trauma survivors often blame themselves and experience feelings of low self-worth, shame, anger, and hopelessness. Therapy will help you to learn about yourself and your situation. As a deeper understanding emerges, you will be ready to process your trauma more fully, find confidence and self-worth, and explore new beginnings.

A Holistic Approach

It's not all in your head!

Rather than only focusing on "mental" symptoms of trauma, I will consider your whole situation. If necessary, I can help you to connect with and navigate practical resources, other organisations, and services.
